The BMTC School V is located at Kranji Camp II. Recruits will undergo 9 weeks of BMT phase in School V. The 9 weeks BMT phase are stay-in course (unless you are medically excused from stay-in).
About SAF BMTC School 5
In School 5, there are three companies (Alpha, Bravo and Charlie). Alpha and Bravo coy are for recruits to undergo Soldering Phase for 4 weeks before assigned to the various vocation for vocational training. Charlie coy is for those recruits that undergo ASA (Admin Support Assistant) course.

First Phase: Soldiering Phase (4 weeks) - Conduct in Alpha and Bravo coy.
Second Phase: Vocational Training (4 weeks) - Conduct in Charlie coy (for ASA), Clementi Camp (for ST), Sembawang Camp (Transport Operator and SA), and Changi Naval Base (Navy).
After 8 weeks of BMT training, Recruits will spend their 9th week back in KC2 for graduation parade's rehearsal at Infantry's parade square. Passing Out Parade (POP) will commence on the 9th week's Thursday.
Life in Alpha/Bravo Coy for 4 weeks
There will be 3 Metabolic Exercise and 3 Sports & Game exercise throughout these 4 weeks. For Week 0 and Week 1, most of the time will be sitting in the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) for talks (both external and internal). Be prepare to sit until your backside pain.
Other than that, it will be soldering kind of practice. (E.g: Foot Drills, Singing the BMT songs, Dismantling of SAR21, CPR courses; etc).
During training and lecture lessons, Recruits are not allowed to bring along their handphones. Failure to comply will result their phone confiscated. Still, there are some "clever" recruits bend the rules and did not get caught.
For those PES C enlistees (that are excused Live Firing and Grenade Throwing) as well as all the PES E enlistee, there will be tons of Admin Time from late Week 2 onwards. Meaning, you can stay in the bunk to sleep, use phone, play game, talk nonsense; etc.
Life could be quite mundane there. If you are a bookworm, be prepare to bring along a book!
