My friend would like to find out what's the course like, as he has been posted to be a driver as a dual vocation. It's a one month course. Is he able to clock 7000 mileage in 1 year 5 months?

What's the other vocation? Anyway, most likely not possible since he has to spend time on the other vocation too.

clocking the mileage for that CV license is almost impossible unless you are driving everyday.

even then those "full time" drivers in transport bn also not many get their CV license.

best way to clock mileage is still being a driver during those overseas exercises.

Some i know of is that in their spare time, they will take vehicle and just drive ard the island to clock the mileage.

Can just suka suka drive around aimlessly meh? No need to keep trips limited to actual work?

I guess now no need to clock 7,000 km.
There are other conditions as well.

Can, why not ? If superior approved, why not ? As long as all conducting manpower and safety is covered, why not ?

That is how I got my cat c2.

Fyi, I am also a dual voc.

I see... but only if superior approved lah. Otherwise skali SAF audit comes if they uncover overly high distances the superior will kena leh.

usually only dispatch, delivery drivers can hit 7k... I hit 14k+ and lots more which aren't recorded on the log book...

how much can we run in field exercises?

give u 200km per exercise , need 35 exercise ...

i don see it being a problem here. as long as the distance/mileage is accounted for in the log book.

i have trips that cover 50km, in a single travel.

can tell them is for drivers to clock mileage lor.

when it comes to driving, how can one learn from mistake or gain experience ? ans: is to drive more, rite ?

yeah.. if TS friend get posted to overseas eg brunei/taiwan/thailand, higher chance to clock the mileage + overseas allowance.

i got driver friend during a single overseas exercise managed to clock enough mileage for cv license.

he driving 5 ton doing resup for a few units... so everyday during morning drive to deliver breakfast, afternoon drive to deliver lunch, night drive to deliver dinner... sometimes even have night snack trip...

damn crazy...

Need to get dispatch duties, sending stuffs to cmpb, far end camps i.e

If you kena lobo duties like safety rover or in camp coverage is damn sian...
