Few years back when I ORD, the speed limit for land rovers, OUV, 5 Ton are all 50km/h.
Just now saw an OUV with the 60km/h sticker on it.
Anyone knows what is the speed limit for SAF vehicle now?

Not sure but last time I check is still 50km/hr.

However SAF official source say that:

To enhance road safety and to narrow the speed differences between SAF vehicles and other road users, the SAF will align the speed limits of all SAF vehicles to national standards. The alignment of speed limits is being implemented in phases, starting with a small percentage of SAF vehicles -- the active Class 3 Operations Utility Vehicles -- from December 2015.

This week was the week all SAF vehicles are tweaked to 60km/h to comply with correct road driving speed to prevent us from being a road hazard.

Actually no leh.

Speed limit for normal road is still 50km/hr & vehicle speed limit for commercial vehicle is still 7km/hr.

Change of SAF vehicles speed limit does not meet 'with correct road driving speed' from traffic rules.

Do you mean SAF ford everest? Don't think so since it is the successor of land rover.

There is always a reason why GP Car is 80km/hr while land rover & etc is only 50km/hr in the past.

I believe SAF ford everest will only raise the speed limit to 60km/hr.

As for GP Car, I hope SAF rasie to 90km/hr but I don't think they will do it & remain at 80km/hr.

80km/h for the ford car (the civilian kind) i think maybe become 90 liao

I think what he mean is for roads with speed limit above 50kmh.
It's really a road hazard for fort Everest to travel at 50kmh on a 90kmh expressway.
IMO, they should up the limit for ford Everest to 70kmh, in line with commercial vehicle. 60kmh is still too slow on expressway.
