Only served seafood rice and veggie but almost all the meals comes with bits of sand in them

Overall I think I lost weight when I was based there

Ps: There was a dog who followed us whenever we start to chiong sua and we named him pioneer 8. I think most likely go doggy heaven liao. Rip pioneer 8

and when i do housekeeping for those bunks (for training battalions), very creepy....

When my platoon mates and I were counting cards upon playing daidee just outside of the bunk, one card was missing, the other mate counted again, one card missing, 3rd person counted (forgot was it me)and it was 52

Upon reaching Sai yok camp, we are brief to be caution during our field exercise as there are insurgents going on in that area and there are alway a Thai soldier following us during our field exercise

iirc it's a requirement. Been there since my NS time and prolly before.

Very good to have also, my Thai attache every night guide us to places to bathe/rest before rejoining the battalion.

It's actually the safest place from wandering spirits.

in case u are not sure, spirit houses are the area's guardian spirit. Think of it as a spiritual RP guarding the door. Any wandering spirit who attempts to intrude will be turned away by the guard.

cannot remember liao cos more than 25 years ago. but the bunk i sleep is right above one, so the first few weeks i keep having scary thoughts and couldn't sleep well 555

To be honest, I envy you guys who managed to have at least one cycle overseas. We were originally planned to have one in Australia, but it got cancelled for "budget" reasons.

Retired ages ago... When I studied at SP 10+ yrs ago, we even got to work on one with bullet holes patched over from Vietnam War (originally US Army, sold to RSAF 2nd hand, then loaned/donated to SP).
