During sakura season Ueno park will always be crowded, unless if u go like 6am

Omw to Tokyo now, might try to hit Ueno Park tonight. Tomr gonna head to Shinjuku Gyoen and Inokashira Park.

Went to Kyoto yesterday. Kyoto should be close to full bloom for Keage Incline. Arashimaya was a bit behind though. The huge weeping sakura tree at Maruyama Park is gorgeous lit up at night, loads of people enjoying their hanami yesterday. A lot of difference from my last visit 3 days ago.

This spot by the Kawaramachi hankyu subway station just before the bridge to Gion-Shijo is really nice too. I didn't make it to Pilosophers Walk yesterday but this made up for it.

Nicely taken! Went thru sendagaya this morning and by noon quite crowded

Kanda river also very scenic along my way there
Sumida and ueno quite disappointing couple days ago, hope this weekend is good

Sumida Park blossoms are a tad behind Ueno but no shortage of people there until the rain came and ended the hanami parties

I'm partial to Meguro River as well, prob check it out on Sun bah. Tomr already going to 2 parks.

Just went Ueno. Full Bloom but weather is bad.

Very gloomy and had some slight drizzle

Just went to nagoya castle. Pretty amazing views there as the sakuras are in full bloom as well.

Shinjuku Gyoen and Inokashira Park were packed earlier. Full bloom at Shinjuku but Inokashira needs a few more days. Will go back to check early next week when I go to the zoo.

So far I think Shinjuku is the best for hanami, tons of space and no cigarette smell.

Went to Meguro River yesterday at 6pm, damn huge crush just trying to get out of the station. Much too crowded to really walk.

Earlier tonight went to Chidorigafuchi, place is crowded but still walkable. This is my best spot so far for hanami in Tokyo
