Bought this samsung 860 EVO 500GB from amazon.

When received, no box, only in a plastic bag with sealed warranty card. Is this common?

Scary sia. Is it used?

I can only say so far, all my local Samsung evo comes with a sealed box and plastic tray.
Why would amazon wants to take it out of the original packaging?

amazon one should be not local D. if local D got sticker one

Mine came with box (from Newegg). Not a big deal anyway since there is no local warranty. I suggest you just enjoy the SSD and not worry too much about it.

to be in store in oem pcs

no box cheaper by 15 usd

Just use a software like crystaldiskinfo, hwinfo. Those should show total power on counts and hours ran, total writes etc.
