Hi all,

Does anyone knows what can i do with the following RAM? This looks like a server ram. Can i make it to a workstation build?

Samsung M393A2K40BB1-CRC0Q 16GB 1Rx4 PC4-2400T

You can, but need to make sure your "workstation" motherboard and CPU support it in the first place.

If you intend to build a professional workstation, don't waste it on consumer motherboard. I only recommend server board from (1st choice) Supermicro, Asrock Rack, Tyan and Asus workstation motherboard.​

As Mach said, that is RDIMM. You can only use it in systems which indicates support for it. Consumer desktops only support UDIMM and SODIMM for laptops.
