Hi guys im planning to get a SSD.

Not sure if Samung Evo SSD is decent for its price?

Prefer to get 1 500gb SSD below $200 if possible, with not much problems such as high failure rates etc.

Well it looks worth it to me, not sure if you can get it cheaper at Lazada though (need $face advise on this)

Check sitex or lazada local pricing. If not much difference, rather you buy in Singapore for warranty.

its 256SGD in Lazada, slightly below 200SGD in Amazon

I dunno how the credit card promo goes in Lazada so must consult $face

Am planning to get the Evo 850 500GB as well.

Amazon's seems to be cheaper than Lazada's (Lowest @ SGD$266.50 excluding discounts/promos: http://www.lazada.sg/samsung-850evo-solid-state-drive-500gb-863167.html)

Also, we have to take note there's no guarantee sellers at Lazada will ship us a local set. (*See the feedback/comments from that seller I just listed in the link above)

As for Amazon's price, it's rounded off to SGD$210 (based on Amazon's exchange rate of USD-SGD) via their free, non-expedited delivery option.
