Noob here on this subject: NFC. =:p

Are our SIM cards already NFC-enabled, or do we have to specifically ask for one? :o

You have to ask for one. It costs about $35 as a one-time fee (Singtel and Starhub), though they may charge more and put the difference into your card as value in the built-in ezlink card.

please update your A7 to latest software over the air.
My original software causing me a lot of problems.
Phone always hang or restart.
After update, I don't have this problem.

Thanks, but just checked, nothing to update. 4.4.4...?

My A7 did not hang/restart on me, but had a couple of weird stuff happened in recently week. Might be "user fault" though.
- Couldn't get a data connection and decided to restart the phone. Tried twice and it went to Safe Mode. Only third time lucky.
- Light came on and wouldn't go off. Thought it's the Privacy Flashlight that I'd accidentally activated, but it won't go off, even after uninstalled. Only alright after I restarted the phone.

It's like they're testing waters for the premium metal unibody design with A series. Now S6 gonna have the same look also, with better specs. ;)

i really like it, just got it today. I sold off my note 4, don't really the processing power and QHD for business use. I love the weight shaved off, really thin.

unfortunately not much support in the XDA community for CWM/TWRP and root.

It's Samsung's slimmest phone to date.

As much as I like it, I still look forward to one that will allow me to use both SIM slots as well as have a separate memory slot.
