I was like you when Fold 1 was released.

After owning the phone for few days the excitement died off because its thickness really put me off when it is folded with casing.

Hope you cope well with such a THICK phone :s13:

yeah I kinda figured that out since I always wearing shorts with shallow pocket...I probably just getting iPhone 12 (if the rumor 5.4" is true)..time to go real small instead of real big now

Why ship from Korea when local sets using SD

Someone from the tablet forum linked qoo10 for tab s7 .....those SD set from korean all like 200 to 300 cheaper :s12:

Fold series i think all using SD irregardless from where ba.....and since it's a fun phone that most prolly last a few month and will be sold before the 1 year warranty is up....so may as well ship it from korea to save a few hundred dollar :s22:

But just concern with the panel....if reach singapore...panel issue...really suck thumb. :s8:

Samsung UK has already started preorders. 256gb mystic bronze is £1799 which is equivalent to 3.2k SGD. Thats freaking too exp

Last year when FOLD1 launch in the UK was £1980, now FOLD2 £1799, hopefully, last year FOLD1 S$3088, FOLD2 S$2888:s22:
1980 is US launch price. UK was £1900 during launch. Still £100 cheaper, sg probably 2988 instead of 2888 seeing Samsung Singapore loves to chop Singaporeans. Anyway, i think there might be a 5G version (probably 512GB storage) that will be more expensive. The cases that were leaked previously seems to indicate

Ya u are right, confirm SG like to mark up price. Its cheaper to import from other countries like korea. But then the fold screen is fragile and price sibei expensive, so there are some who thinks having local warranty is important

For such an expensive phone, I think better to get local sets. The screen replacement itself is already very costly. I remember I replaced my Fold screen for $200 or something because they offer subsidised rate for 1st time replacement. After that subsequent replacement is $800, for this reason alone, I think export set is not worth it.
