Note 1 is 1A. Note 3 should be 2A I think.
U use it on note 3 confirm slower.
But why u want to do that?

coz i have TWO note 1 chargers (original). one at home one at office, so, if i traded in my note 1 (full set), then i have only ONE note 3 charger + ONE note 1 charger. i will put my note 3 charger at home and use the note 1 charger remained in the office to charge my new note 3 WITHOUT buying another note 3 charger...

Actually yes leh, but the strange thing is one day ok and then the next day it just went hot and drain for no reason ....

u close the apps by pressing the home button? not the back button? maybe apps are still running in the background.. or some badly written apps that causes the batt drain.... imo

Well, it will just take a longer time to reach 100% for the Note 1 charger. But if you are on a desk bound job with about 6hrs on the desk, you can plug it in and leave it to charge.

Slower charging help keep the batt life longer too.

note 1 charger 1A, note 3 charger 2A... so, if note 3 charger charged note 3 from 0 - 100 takes 2 hrs, means note 1 charger need to take 4hrs?

Techincally speaking yeah... but practically speaking nope.. I can't tell you how long it will take to charge, but it does the job.

And I do not believe the NOTE III warrant such a constantly charging..

*I do not have the NOTE III yet...still waiting for the pink one so can't commend much.*

maybe i back too fast,..sometimes the screen will freeze for like a few seconds.

My iPad Mini does that too if I try to go back home screen also, pretty sure it's normal.

Dont install those screen saver or animated wallpaper.. those apps is draining the battery every single sec..

yep and i have customized most apps with different notification sounds. i think the problem usually occurs when i reset the phone so maybe you guys might want to try it and see if you also encounter the same problem.

btw this problem did not occur when i was using S4

The only problem i have is probably only the camera which gives a clear pic 40-50% of the time.

I do not have any lags, indexing issue or batt issues (hopefully i dont jinx myself). So dont let one or 2 negative comments affect you unless u experience it yourself as your usage pattern may be different.

I have done that...
black wallpaper, black whatsapp, black messenger, etc.

disabled whatever I can disable

ON power-saving (all three options checked)
ON auto-brightness (but slider is all the way to the left at -5)

still not anyway near your level...

Just now went to store to test the display set. There's no lag. Camera focusing speed and image quality are ok. Feels slim n lightweight. Confirm a very good upgrade for my note 1.

I'm going to buy in mid nov when my contract hits 21 mths.

I can feel a bit lag also when browsing sites and streaming youtube video
