Hi all I got a s view like flip cover but it does not have the auto s view function like the original saumsung s view cover that can automatically activate this function and I was told that I need to do some setting to the phone in order to use the s view function, so does anybody know how to activate the s view function thx..

The case shop guy told me that Samsung put a special chip in their s-view case for note 3.as a result, those Pirated ones will not have the s-view.

Wld appreciate it very much if fellow forumers who use this smartphone, could share whether this phone has a long battery life. Can the battery last more than a day? Tks in advance. At present, I am using samsung s2 and very often the battery almost runs out before I finishes work. I don't see myself carrying another battery if I can help it.

If you are not heavy user, can last 2 days. I hardly touch my phone, Morning full charge , till nite 12 hrs later still 80%+.

I also came from S2 to N3, sure the battery can last the whole day with all my 2 emails running, tune in apps while going to work and back , FB, whatsapp, viber and some voice calls.

My previous S2 even with a new batt cannot do all this, but need to recharge at the office 2-3 hrs before going back home.

Asian set is not region lock. Singapore set is not region n sim locked. We got the best of both worlds.

Sim lock means can only use on the telco the phone is locked to.

my Partial Wakelocks are only like 18ms
(PowerManagerService.WakeLocks)

but the following add up to almost an hour
