Hi guys,

Anyone knows/ have any idea what is wrong with my screen?
I could not write or draw on the area (circular) as in pic with the stylus.
But no problem when write or draw with finger.

Anyhow, it happens occasionally..

Many thanks in advance

Please do a *#0*# in the dialer and do the Wacom Test. If your pen cannot write to certain part of the screen, it is time to visit the service center.

On the Note 4, and all the other Note series

There are 2 layers of touch - one being the normal capacitive sensor that senses your touches and a Wacom based sensor (which is what the Spen uses - the Spen is a wacom pen).

So it seems that that Wacom layer is faulty at that region which results in a dead spot as pictured by you.

Hope this helps.

Just bring it to a service centre with your receipt and you are good to go.

Unofficially my experience with Marina sv ctr, it is pretty fast.. I was shocked that I got my set back within a few hours or within the day. It was a pretty off peak day I guess.

Officially the standard reply will be about 3 to 5 days of downtime depending on stock availability etc.

So you may want to have a back up phone ready.

bro.. doesnt need to go to service center.. yay :D

found the problem already..
Im using a leather wallet type with magnetic clasp.
Every time I fold the clasp behind the phone, I could not draw/write on that particular place where the round magnet is.

Nevertheless.. million thanks for sharing

I've been using the original S-View since day one and no problem so far. Maybe those aftermarket ones are not using the right type or strength magnets?

i just sliced the case and took out the magnets from the case.. and even with my finger in between the two magnets.. the attraction towards each other is strong.. :spin:
