Good news for those who have pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 3, collection starts Sep 27. The phone will go on sale on Sep 28.

Never bought any Samsung phone before. Do the telcos do like midnight launches for them like they do for iPhone? Am planning to fly off on the morning of 27th and if it launches then (but is only available after the shops open) then guess I'd miss it.

27th sept is only for preorder customers who paid the $50 deposit, actual walk in sales starts from 28th sept~ maybe 27th sept third party retailers might have but like you said you'll miss it because of the opening hours

Probably clear out the stocks based on the preorder so they stop it. I hope this will make Samsung scared and lower price for Note 3 in case sales not good

IMO, I don't see the reason why Samsung has to be scared, unless they are not confident with their product, that they have to lower their price just to get sales.

Cos i think now it's not between Apple and Samsung already. LG and Sony phone seems pretty good enough to take some off and i think most likely they are eating more into Samsung's share than Apple's. Note 3 is still unique for now but may not be easy for them soon. S3 to S4 seems to be the same old ****, same like Note 2 to 3. Xperia Z1 is like a really good phone, all except for the battery life as reviewed.

dont think Note 3 going to be <1k lah, it is much more premium phone IMO than apple 5s. If 5s 32g already 1148 with old tiny screen, N3 32g with 1.1k-1.2k seems about right. Of course personally i hope it will be as low as possible cause i WANT it!!

Guess not worth trade in my S4, shall trade in my Note ll

I think you should reconstract iphone 5s to resell away to buy note 3.

Not feasible i think. China will be launching the iphone 5s concurrently..
And they are the primary buyers.

Each got pros and cons, but telcos usually will be no questions asked while the shops will want full set, mint and deduct here and there for whatever **** plus the price they tell you over phone and when the phone is there differs.

Registerd interest with Singtel but no pre-order leh. Or maybe I should just get from my friend who owns a shop. Maybe can get from him before open shop. Haha...
