I am actually starting to feel the screen for note 2 is... not big enough.

But they would have to enlarge the screen without destroying the "pocketability".

I am using UAG case for my note 2 and feel the width acceptable (if the grip isnt bad). So if they can minimize the bezel to fit the 6.3 inch (diagonal) screen into the 3.4inch (wide) space then it would be perfect for me.

Oh and greater resolution plz.
same thoughts, starting to find note 2 screen abit not enough. like if use using 2 hands, feels abit small. i think 6 inch is the ideal size :o

Samsung Galaxy Note III rumored to launch in US with 5.9" display

Samsung Galaxy Note III, the potential successor of the popular Galaxy Note II phablet was said to come out with a whopping 5.9" display. Now, an executive from one of the main parts suppliers for the company has confirmed the screen size.

According to a report from Korea Times, the next generation Galaxy Note will launch in the United States as confirmed by the local suppliers. The report also claims that the South Korean manufacturer will be showing off its Galaxy Note III concept to the US carrier AT&T in the coming days.
Samsung Galaxy Note III is also rumored to sport the latest OLED technology for the display, which is expected to offer a full HD resolution.
The successor of the Galaxy Note II is expected to be launched by the end of August, falling in line with the IFA 2013, but Samsung might chose to skip the show and hold its own Unpacked event in the US as it did for the Galaxy S4.

yup, they better not enlarge the overall physical size...just maximise the screens till the max the bezel can allow.

but i really hope they can design something slick and nice.
the note/note2/s3/s4 designs are -_-

htc one atm is looking great, but i'm holding back due to the unibody design...

just hope they can design the phone nicer.
instead of the stupid s3, note 2, s4 design.

For me note II features are enough. Only air gesture feature I am interested in but also not a big change. Guess until like "ironman features phone" is out then I will buy

Telco wont bring in more than 16gb. If really have must go samsung shop buy. Anyway what's the purpose is having 128gb?
Starting with some ICS devices & now all JB devices, Android no longer allows the user to move apps to the external microSD card.

This has big implications for budget/cheaper devices with small internal storage e.g. 8GB only. Those who play HD games will suffer the most as you can easily max out the available storage space with just 2 or 3 games. Most games do not provide any option of choosing where to store the extra data files.

Currently the apps are mostly not optimised to handle this. So even if they suggest you store videos, pictures & music on the microSD card, those which you purchase over some streaming service can only store on the internal storage as the app fails to recognise the microSD as a storage option.

Without root & custom ROMs/scripts, you cannot circumvent this & will need to "consider" purchasing the more expensive devices with larger storage.

If it stays longer I don't mind at 6.3inch.

Note 1 is broader but shorter than the current note 2. Screen is said to be smaller.

Note 2 is longer in height and narrower than the note 1 and claims it to be bigger screen.

Note 3 can be bigger in screen size by extending their screen nearer to the side bezel and top bezel and narrower the home button. If taking a look at note 2. The physical size of it from the bezel to the screen is kinda waste of space IMO.

I do kindda miss having fm radio

for me, i've never touched fm for like almost 2 decades.

Kinda prefer internet radio instead.

There are good and bad's of FM Radio.

I like FM Radio because it doesn't requires internet service. However those internet radio, have bigger variety of channels unlike FM Radio.

Hope they'll bring back FM Radio to Note III with LTE.
*can save on the *future* 3GB data plan
