Worth it? usually lastest iphone could worth more than $1000, given new.

Don't bother. Iphone value now has dropped tremendously. Instead now Note 3 will increase in value instead because many people have been waiting for this phone and will most probably be selling faster than the Iphone 5s.

You should be instead doing the opposite. Buy Iphone 5s and sell Note 3.

You are wrong, last year iPhone 5, I managed to sell each set with a profit of $350 each, so I can tell you in the face, iPhone value doesn't drop as tremendously as you mentioned if you play with the market.

On the other hand, Samsung phones always drop in value very fast, in 1 month, phone value will drop around $100. Due to the fact that China, Vietnam, Philippines, they still have iPhone as a premium product over Samsung.

That's the problem, Apple phone always stays premium price because of sole release of model, this time round yeah, because it's 5S, profit will drop, but definitely still higher than Samsung phones.

haha... my starhub early recon in mid oct.
so, i hope the starhub tock level will stabilise by then.
so that i will keep my ultra and sell the note 3 to offset my ultra purchase.

will not wait or get the iphone, coz later recon or early recon will have to pay extra when compared to other phones.
plus this time round, like others cautioned...it's 5s and 5c.
supposedly not much improvement and so called cheaper version.
