hey guys! new here. need ur advice. currently using iphone4. should i purchase the note2 now (comex price 149$ with batt kit) or purchase it after note3 is released in sg?

i think N2 price will drop after N3 release.

but if by then the price difference not much, maybe u sld consider N3.

Watched all the Note lll and Note ll side by side, can really tell the Note ll had burn in display, yellowish white after long usage haha

i recalled my s2 had some burnt in on the 1st row after almost 1 year usage.

Doubt so, unless you are into professional graphics? It just look good to me, kind of like over saturation already.

Yup, it's been a widely known issue with Samsung OLED display, even for TVs etc. Don't understand why they don't wanna use their PLS Panel, I love ASUS IPS screens!

I think with the high ppi, it's very hard to tell unless you put your eyes 1cm away from the screen lol. Unless there's something about the pentile that cause the screen to deteriorate faster, else don't think it makes much of a difference?

I'm definitely not going to strain my eyes on this issue haha!

I just gonna enjoy the 1080p screen! I compared my S4 and Note ll side by side, it differs really alot! Wah Note ll starting to show burn in Yellow whites

Yeah i start noticing some yellowishy colouring but seems to disappear from time to time lol.

Exactly! Like the retina display. I'm sure a lot of people who use iPad Mini will think it has "retina" display. Truth is you can't really take notice unless you zoom in on everything everytime and you even be bothered by it. I think most prob don't even know it's not even a HD screen.
