Cos of branding that is the problem.

Ya, the premium is for the brand and also probably repair cost is factored inside first, if you don't get it repaired then they earn and for others who constantly have problems to benefit lol

Well Samsung is trying to enable the true octacore capability in their Exynos. Which I think is already happening recently.
Also, they should put the Wolfson DAC into the Snapdragon version too

the S800 one doesn't have wolfson chip? I can't imagine the battery life of running 8 cores when the current big little battery life is already not good enough, imagine having that 4 A15 cores running all the time + another 4 A7 to add to the heat For tablet i think it's ok for all the power but mobile phone is the leh chey one.

Anyway, i think wolfson or not i won't really be too anal about it if it's not, mobile phone sound no matter how good, still suck anyway.

i know sony phones definitely not as high value as apple/samsung...but $300 for a high end phone which is less than 1 month is seriously siao.

Sony resale value drop tremendously fast..had the experience with Xperia Z previously so will never consider another Sony.

Why are you comparing prices against an iPhone....? I think the s4 telco price at launch plus a bit more would be a more accurate forecast.

How much is this plan first lol. A bit hard to believe the price difference is so much between India and Malaysia unless the plan is super ex type.

The Note series and the S series of Samsung are always priced very similarly due to both series being flagships. In fact, s3, s3 LTE, Note 2 and s4 all launched with a RRP of $998.

Hopefully note 3 also around this price? Haha
