Hi All,
This is a challenging question.

What is the fastest way to transfer All Apps and data from Note1 to Note3?
Let's see who has the best answer.

take out memory card from note 1
slot into note 3

switch on note 3 :s13:

*#0*# trick might still work given that its Samsung phone.
If so, can use that to test almost every thing.

Mine was for delivery. You should try calling SH and to see if can change to delivery on the 29th. They had some slots left, think they were 12pm-3pm 3pm-7pm and 7pm - 10pm. I went for the the 7-10pm.

Thanks for sharing.. Im already overseas and don't wanna make an overseas call to StarHub just to enquire on that. Have already emailed them but no response at all.

Camera focus issue

Just got to play with a display set at Samsung gwc. Seems like the focusing is quite bad under normal indoor conditions. Compared shots with my old S2, note 3 took pics faster, brighter, better colours, but usually blur. Shot a nearby brochure, S2 can read all the fine prints (not clear, but legible), whereas note 3 the same brochure at same distance completely could not be read, cannot make out letters even. Tried a few times, so confirm is not my hand shaking.

Anyone else noticed this issue?

No, I fiddled with settings, there doesn't seem to be option to switch to macro. CNET review says the same:
"The Note 3 comes with a 13-megapixel camera, and I found my experience with the shooter to be quite strange. The autofocus would randomly not lock on properly at times, even for non-macro shots. I did manage to get the camera to focus properly after multiple times of forcing it to reacquire the lock. I could not replicate it when I tried at our indoor lab.

One issue I had with the camera is the lack of shooting options -- you can't tell the camera to shoot macro (you can in the Note 2), you'll have to hope the auto mode gets it right the first time. Turning on the software-based image stabilization feature will load up a processing window that pops up right after you take a picture and this is annoying but you do get better shots (in low-light)."

Black to me ugly, can a lot color case not suit to it.. Best still go for White and Pink...:D:D:D:D

black can suit alot of colour casing esp bright colour
its not ugly la, juz plain looking

white is nice but have to use casing to cover the battery cover
i feel abit pointless liao coz cannot show the white back cover
