i went down to samsung shop at somerset with another friend and tested the note 3 there, wow, there was like 8 sets for us to try on and we were like the 1st 3 chaps there to test the phone but few mins later it was crowded with people testing the phone and looking around.

After testing the phone, i was quite impressed and happy with the performance, android os of note 3 because i am a current user of iphone 4 and it would definitely be a great jump for me to switch over to note 3.


One question to ask, heard from rumors that the first batch of note 3 might have some issues, * choi choi, touchwood *
is it true? some are saying they are trying to avoid the first batch though.

i'm tempted to change too...coz having a bit of feeling for the spen functionalities.
Nice pics.
doesn't seem like what earlier poster mentioned about the demo set.
but truthfully, i couldn't really trust a demo set. the settings or don't know what might have been meddled with.

First batch or not first batch it's this depend on your luck. If you lucky you got a good set. If you are bad luck u got a problematic set.

For my note 2 which is first batch I used it's almost a year didn't even go to service before.

You can set it to GSM only in the mobile network options.. You shd likely get a bit more battery out of the phone, but 3G in SG here is worse than LTE (Atleast with my singtel) so upto you..

yes is true. if possible wait for the last last batch..

I preordered my set from StarHub
- collecting from NEX 9-12PM

I only manage to preorder during the second round (on Tuesday)
- didn't see an option for Delivery
- didn't see an option to get Galaxy Gear watch

Some issues/concerns
- is the Accessory Pack limited/first come, first serve?
- is it limited to certain priceplans? (I'm currently using BB9900 and on Power100 with HubClub 30% off.. so not sure which plan to go for now)

What's Samsung's warranty and Customer Service Centre like?
- is it as easy to get a replacement from them? (like Apple and BlackBerry service centre)

you will enjoy multi-tasking on the bigger screen and better battery life

I using first batch S4, no issue so far. *touch wood*

Note 3 can't really say we first batch also, other countries got it before us so no worries.

(No antennae gate or scuff gate or whatever like Apple)
