they been talking abt it for the longest time, let's see how it play out

Im more curious on whether Tony Stark's phone will work out in reality

Graphene is the future. Sadly only Nokia and Samsung actually give a damn about Graphene in mobile technology.

I actually feel like getting one Note 3 after trying out at Samsung stores just due to it's battery life and bigger screen and weight but am afraid of not liking it (OS wise) after getting it. I don't really need a stylus too actually. Will definitely sell if I don't like it. Lol. Currently using iPhone 5.

Stick to your iPhone 5. Don't spend 1 thousand dollars on something you might not like. But hey I have come from iPhone 4 and have never look back ever since.

there will definitely be a learning curve. :s12:
Jumped from iPhone 5 to S4 and best decision I ever made...

get a friend who uses android to guide you along, the amount of customizations and choices you are able to make might just overwhelm you. :s13:

but one thing, definitely try swiftkey keyboard and swiping.
or google keyboard if you want something more similar to iOS.

I found myself swyping my iPad keyboard and getting irritated that I couldn't do it barely after just a week on my S4.

What about the OS is pulling you back? Android has evolved so much over the years. Its as user friendly, if not even more user friendly than iOS with features such as direct drag and drop, choosing your own default application instead of being directed by Apple, sharing from one app to another easily etc.

On a side note, Google Play Books are now on Singapore Playstore too! Another compelling reason for bookworms to get the Note 3. The huge screen will be important for bookworms right? Hahaha.

That is the thing. A matter of whether to try or not. Lol. I think note 3 interface have improved tremendously and the new build sold me. I'll consider first tonight. Still not fully willing to part with the iPhone just yet but the battery is damn annoying.

Singtel pull stunt 40 mins before their booking, and after all other telcos close roi. Darn cunning.

Wrote them a stinker.... Not gonna upgrade my plan because I have mobile broadband, not paying 20 dollars more a month just for an accessories pack. Grrrrrrr

What's new man, they alw very smelly :vijayadmin:

go for it bro. :s12:

Android has become more user friendly and easier then iOS imo.

Simple transferring of a video is just copy and paste for Android vs in iOS where you have to use iTunes and sync or even convert in some cases.

you won't turn back, just give it a chance for a week or two to get used to the different User interface and you should be fine.

Hi I may be giving up my pre order at Samsung @ AMK HUB. Anyone interested to take over? I just need my $50 deposit back.

I preordered my set from StarHub
- collecting from NEX 9-12PM

I only manage to preorder during the second round (on Tuesday)
- didn't see an option for Delivery
- didn't see an option to get Galaxy Gear watch

Some issues/concerns
- is the Accessory Pack limited/first come, first serve?
- is it limited to certain priceplans? (I'm currently using BB9900 and on Power100 with HubClub 30% off.. so not sure which plan to go for now)

What's Samsung's warranty and Customer Service Centre like?
- is it as easy to get a replacement from them? (like Apple and BlackBerry service centre)

anyone got any ideas?

Starhub should have an option for delivery usually, but since u picked Nex it might have been blanked out.

Galaxy Gear Watch is only available from October onwards, if you preorderd they will give you a $100 off voucher.

Starhub should have stock as long as your pre-ordered and booked an appointment. For M1 it's first come first serve.

Only Singtel limited the accessories pack to the Value plans and above, Starhub and M1 give to all plans.

Samsung has drop off points all around Singapore which will take 2-3 days, but their Marina Square outlet will be able to process for you on the spot usually. Samsung doesn't do 1 for 1 refurbished set like Apple, usually they'll repair it.

I ordered there. No news from them so far....

I called them yesterday, they say can collect on Fri, 27 Sep. But no confirmation on the timing. :(
