Starhub should have an option for delivery usually, but since u picked Nex it might have been blanked out.

Galaxy Gear Watch is only available from October onwards, if you preorderd they will give you a $100 off voucher.

Starhub should have stock as long as your pre-ordered and booked an appointment. For M1 it's first come first serve.

Only Singtel limited the accessories pack to the Value plans and above, Starhub and M1 give to all plans.

Samsung has drop off points all around Singapore which will take 2-3 days, but their Marina Square outlet will be able to process for you on the spot usually. Samsung doesn't do 1 for 1 refurbished set like Apple, usually they'll repair it.

I preordered my set from StarHub
- collecting from NEX 9-12PM

I only manage to preorder during the second round (on Tuesday)
- didn't see an option for Delivery
- didn't see an option to get Galaxy Gear watch

Some issues/concerns
- is the Accessory Pack limited/first come, first serve?
- is it limited to certain priceplans? (I'm currently using BB9900 and on Power100 with HubClub 30% off.. so not sure which plan to go for now)

What's Samsung's warranty and Customer Service Centre like?
- is it as easy to get a replacement from them? (like Apple and BlackBerry service centre)

Singtel is really getting worst now. Just got call from their cso regarding my query for the launch event. They said they no longer provide voucher for recontract customers then I ask them what they can give as I'm going to recontract my CIS value plan, he say the most he can give is 1 month subscription free . Seriously now they don't give a damn for existing customer. Then I tell them for other telecom of similar plan, they got 100 mins extra outgoing call and 1 gb extra data , he tell me again this has been reviewed by their marketing dept and the current plan is already finalize . I think their whole bloody marketing dept should be fired then for treating customers like this zzzz. Singtel really damn screw up

Actually in time to come I think if SH and M1 see their extra 1gb and call doesn't affect Singtel they might take it off too.

I don't think there's any pre order, just get directly from Samsung shop with $100 off using the coupon once it's available in October.

Actually I'm leaning towards Pebble as well. The gear's battery life just doesn't cut it for me.

Are you really considering to buy Galaxy Gear???

I'm sure the price will drop quickly. It's unjustifiably overpriced at close to $500. Even if you get the $100 discount, it's still close to $400. I personally wouldn't spend more than $250 on it.

Besides, given that Samsung has just announced that they are going to use curved display for their next phone (next month?), it's a safe bet that future Galaxy Gear iterations will feature sleeker design which incorporates curved display.

i'm tempted to change too...coz having a bit of feeling for the spen functionalities.
Nice pics.
doesn't seem like what earlier poster mentioned about the demo set.
but truthfully, i couldn't really trust a demo set. the settings or don't know what might have been meddled with.

really regret not Kickstarting Pebble..
I sure hope I won't regret going from BB9900 to Galaxy Note 3 (or should I go for a smaller phone?)

Just went to china town point try the note 3. Actually, the chromed shining rim is quite ugly. I am also surprised that they have done it quite badly and very rough especially the parallel strips. It is like Ah Beng shining accessories in the phone. The shining side rim is very "outstanding" in the white version. Other than that, the phone operation is silky smooth and take good photos. The screen is vivid and nice. Once I get mine, will find some casing to hide the ugly rim.
