Samsung Galaxy Note - Unresponsive home button

Anyone has a unresponsive home button for their Galaxy Note?

My set is out of warranty and I doubt repair by Samsung service centre will be economical.

Appreciate any input on this, thanks.

Try a few drops of rubbing alcohol and than exercise the home button. I do it on my iphones which are notorious for having this problem.

yes, rubbing alcohol will evaporate.Drip a few drops and press the home button a few times.
