Since the P7P, I've bought the EA version for my P8P now and find the quality of the glass to be the same without the need to go with UV glue.

Not too sure on that, cause from what i know, the Ultrasonic FP scanner is sensitive to different degree of electrostatic strength. Too weak FP scanner wont work properly.

UV glue is confirmed stick. But it also pose another issue for curved screens, slightly off even by a bit can caused your FP scanner not to work properly also. However for flat screen, it should work properly as it does not have any form of curvature to it. So i am going forward and try WSD UV instead.

PSA, don't follow me ah, or quote me after failing at WSD lol. So far touch wood, since S9 era i have been using WSD and it did not fail me so far.

BTW if you all testing and comparing the zoom on S23u and s24u, you can certainly feel a bit of a downgrade in IQ.

I probably think this is the way to go, and it will take some time for them to optimised in a few generations before they change another sensor. Just like how S21U first intro this zoom, it was really weak but only optimised on the S23U instead.

Yes. The data will not overwrite each other. Can try, no harm will be done. The most just reformat your S24U and redo.

nope ... no need to check new phone .. samsung members app also have similar diagnostic. I did a factory reset before configuring the S24u tho
