I am one of those over excited people, ordered the S24+ immediately around 2 am launch time without realizing the processor is not the same as the Ultra..

To add salt in the wound, i did over trade my S23+ for it some more. I don't want to cancel the order as i have my first hand experience of getting the refund from Samsung. Especially during this preorder period. Now contemplating whether i can request to cancel the trade in alone..

My understanding is that if you fail to produce the trade in set or it’s not up to scratch, you have to make good the difference deducted from the preorder amount? That already seems like good remedy so shouldn’t be any issue.

i am contemplating my s24 ultra order as i am coming from s23 vanilla.
Have always been using compact phones and it has always been able to fit the back zip pocket of my running shorts.
Think the ultra wouldn't be able to fit at all.
But then one reason for me is i start to have flower eyes, so i tot i needed a bigger screen to see better.
Not sure if i should cancel order or resell, so don't blame me for flipping hahaha.

Just went to SES at bedok mall just now, for those asking about color, they have 5 colors there.

2 fully functioning units which are titanium grey and violet. 3 dummy units with the samsung online exclusive colors, blue, green and orange. There are also 4 blocks of like 10x10cm with the other standard color that try to show the other colors but you cant really gauge how they look from that so they are pretty useless.

For blue, green and orange color, unfortunately the color makes the phone look plasticky and gives you that non-premiun feel. Violet looks ok. But the nicest looking one definately is the grey because the grey color back and the titanium side makes the whole unit look like they are fuss together seamlessly as one single titanium block. That really gives that premium look and feel, can difinately understand now why so many people says the grey is the nicest.

The trade up is an additional discount arh? Is it also dependent on the device's condition?

As per Samsung's site:
Get $400 Enhanced Overtrade bonus when you trade-in your Galaxy S21 | S22 | S23 | Note20 | Z Flip4 | Z Fold4 Series device. T&C apply.

Only the above models will get Enhanced bonus of $400. Rest will get lesser (I think its $200++)
Of course, the condition matters. So like my S23+ value is $610. If the condition is as per their standards, I will get $610 + $400 = $1010.

Hi, i wanted ask something about the trade in condition of my s23 ultra. The questionnaire asked if my phone's body has less than 4 visible scratches that's 3mm or less. I have 4 visible scratches thats less than 3mm but got one big large scratch around 1 cm at the bottom of my phone near the spen area( it is actually due to the super difficult to take off clear samsung case i used on it 🙄). If i still click yes but the person collecting it says it is not what i declared, will they just charge me for the difference? My s23 ultra 512gb trade in value is $775. But if click no that question on the visible scratches, it will be $585. A difference of $190. So i will be Charged the $190 right? Or my entire trade in value of $775 voided? Please advise. Thanks!

Is it true that S24 Ultra will be available for sale from today in Shops? I see advertisement in Tik Tok that it is available at $1650.

Any idea when will Samsung "overtrade" and $88 expired?

I can't do it now due to Starhub EasyGo which left with 1 more month of installment. They do not allow early repayment or termination. So lan lan have to wait till next month to buy.

It is very simple, $400 over trade Samsung will still honour it. Compasia or PC Dreams will not honour the full amount of $775 if the condition it is not met. They will access and tell you the final quote.

If you find the quote not acceptable, iirc they will charge you the delivery fee for sending the phone back to you. And on top of that, you are liable to pay $775 in full if you choose this route.

What rubbish is this. The phone is still yours to do what you want to do. Just that you continue to pay the installment plan.

The only clause is you are not allowed to do an early termination only. Nobody will know what you do to the phone. Not unless you telling me that the phone has to go back to Starhub.
