Fellow S24/24+/24U users, did you guys notice there's no longer the option to unlock right away if the PIN number input is correct? Now we have to tap "OK" after entering the PIN to unlock, that's slightly disappointing for me, though probably it's a security concern that they removed that feature.

Pixel added it, but only if the PIN is 6 or more digits.

Not sure if it'll appear for the S24 if you use a longer PIN.

For anyone trying to find sp, highly recommend zeelot tempered glass. I have been using it since s21 ultra days and the fp works well, sometimes need to re register the fp sometimes no need. They are using UV glue tech, I usually ask the shop guy to help paste.

This time round s24u I'm skipping it tho cuz I wanna try the anti reflective coating. Also the price has dropped for their flat screen sp compared to curved last time.

Yep, Zeelot's my choice too! =) Unless you get a great price on WhiteStone Dome (Possible sometimes, cos Zeelot also has been raising their prices.)

If your PIN is less than 6 digits, need to tap Ok. It's like that for Android 14.

No issue setting up singpass for me. Is just that they added new security measures and require you to use your camera to verify human

Same here.. i have no choice to schedule it on 14-Feb-2024 09:00 - 13:00

But its ok as the amount is already deducted in the original order so no worries. Its not like the trade up after we purchase, where we need to wait for 3 weeks plus for the money to be credited to your account.

Noticed the display on S24 Ultra, the colour seems more washed out as compared to my S22 Ultra.

Is it due to setting or? I checked both display settings are the same

The thing about TG is there are many factors in play. It's never 100% the same as bare glass. So if you generally have fingers which are harder to read, your issues with TG may be exponentially bad.
Also, I've encountered in the past with WhitestoneUV. Registering and testing is ok. A few hours later, it forgets everything. So, I feel having UV glue just makes matters worse.

When I tested FP after installing GlassTR, I was super worried as none of my prints could be detected (On the contrary, Ibywind SP on my S23+ worked flawlessly right after install).
So, I re-register my prints. It was good. Keep overnight and in the morning now, it's still good. I'm keeping my fingers cross on this...

I'm just really glad were finally done with curved screens. Those making UV based SPs should just stop already...
