The grip is phenomenal due to the micro dots. It's abit more sandstone feel on the sides compared to my old S23 Ultra dbrand case that was more smoother to the touch instead. Only downside is that it catches just abit more lint on the sides but it's not a big deal to me. Fit is very tight on first install but should loosen up after a few 'deflowering' sessions.

Mine is fitted raw. The case because it's a perfect fit and sits flush I don't find a need for lens protector. But up to you liao.

The way Samsung does its pre launch needs to be rethought though i feel. The dishing out lf new promotions to stack on existing pre launch deals in the middle of the promotoion creates negative publicity in a way.

Pre order in the expected period within the respective online store type should be the same throughout be it you order from Day 1 or Day 12 as it’s fall into the pre-order period.

The way they do thing seem to varies so need to plan accordingly to buy so you got the best deal out of it as different day get different promotion price on main store vs EPP vs Education Store.

Why? Lens will scratch, once it is scratched, forever scratch. And the lens surrounding this year is a black metal ring.... Samsung isnt good with their paint coating. Paint chip is something im worried about

Is like a slap in our face for those order early. Samsung give discount from the start and even lower its RRP on non main online store before official launch while Apple is like discount is HELL NO, NEVER in main, epp or education store.

I ordered in preorder early and the ultra 512gb cost me about $1250 after the rebates and points.

Yes, they need to think about making the promotion more coherent. Else next time less people will be willing to buy during pre-launch.

Actually really depends on how you use the phone and with which case. My older dbrand case for S23 Ultra also similar design and I've had absolutely 0 scratches/discoloration on my phone. I think if the back part has a bigger cutout or a wide open cutout, then your risk of scratching the lens around it is much higher. There is a reason why I keep using back dbrand is because it's done a very good job of protecting my phone and it lasted 2 years without even disintegrating or any sort like that. But its a boring case if you have a nice phone color since the grip case is black and only in that color.
