Samsung Galaxy S4 Issue

Hi all. I am currently using my Samsung Galaxy S4.
I have one issue with my keyboard. Refer to the picture.

Usually, as far as I understand, I can able to switch language easily by swiping across my spacebar (under my ideal S4). But if you refer to my current S4, I can only switch language by pressing the globe icon two space beside the space bar.

Anyone know how I can set it to switching language by swiping across the spacebar?

not sure what happened but i also face the same keyboard issue as you today, have yet to find any solution to get the space bar swipe function back. Anyone can help?

Settings > My device > language and input > Samsung keyboard (gear) > input languages

Tick the languages you want and you should be able to switch language by swiping left right.

Can't. It simply doesn't allow you to swipe and you have to press the globe button to change language.

Strange, after I did the above I was able to swipe to change language. And I don't have the globe button. Sorry couldn't help, maybe updating the phone would help.
