I have never used samsung cards before but after this promo willing to try. They seem good if get from genuine source

yes, especially if you are using the samsung cards on samsung devices...seems to be the most compatible...not sure if its due to samsung doing something on their devices :s13:

a slight premium if you buy from reliable sources at special prices...if follow srp prices, then the premium appears to be more...eg. can buy genuine samsung 32GB evo class 10 microsd below S$30 easily...but srp is $45 and most superstores sell at $39-45.

ya challenger with member got discount.......... but the prob or am curious is the fake 1 and real ..... packaging is exactly the same ??? any1 can verify ???

if its fake...... quality and reliability way off than real ??

any1 got this experience to share ??

Most fake cards doesnt have the capacity or speed of the original. A test using H2testW or CrystalDiskMark will reveal its fake. But for the packaging and the card outlook, its not that easy to see. Recently got 1 Qoo10 seller selling fake cards and theres alot of complaint till he removed listing. Think the seller kena con by supplier. :s22:

That fake samsung and sandisk microsd card seller, is not kena con. He sells it knowing it is fake. This is the fact.

Eh. That 13 one ar. He knows? WTH... con alot people lo.

Well.. Like I said before, I got SanDisk involved, and after the inquiry was launched and Qoo10 "investigation" those few sales in question was removed, by they refused to ban them giving all sort of reasons. Their virtual office in Robinson was revoked so they went ahead to get a Singpost PO Box now.

You can see my other post to see what Qoo10 said in reply.

But AFAIK, they only had a "few pieces" left by then

I know they sold alot during that "promo" period. Its quite hard to get Qoo10 to ban sellers. But did you get back your money? :s11:

Well... If you had a choice... $35 for samsung pro card 64gb or $90 in store... I opt for $35, its real...

Well, it was real anyway. So sometimes when price is too good to be true, it could be a real deal too...

But sure this was just an exception

Yea, and the closed those threads. But evidently, no refund... And to get a refund, LOYAL customers must pay a non-refundable fee of $2.74.

Why?
You need to send back via registeredd mail or equalivent (trackable) service for "rma" first.

This additional fee was not refundable and we had to lose the cash because qoo10 opted to allow such scammers rock the sales. And still, not banning...

Maybe theirs a cahoot with singpost? (Conspiracy theory) since they stand to gain the most

Is it the same as the picture in the advertisement. how come the write speed is so slow. Up to 90 MB/S read, 80 MB/S write.
