Note 3
- stylus.

I won't use LG G2 to versus Note 3. It will be against Xperia Z1

Then all of them group together versus iphone 5s (this is the OS duel).

Try it out yourself at the demo booth and make up your own mind. Don't follow the crowd. Note 3 stylus is more like a gimick, depends on whether you actually use it or not. =:p

Screen size is impt to me. Anything less than 5 inch is too small for me. While I like the hp screen to be as big as possible, 6 inch and above means I can't put the phone inside my pocket. That is why I didn't consider any phone whose screen size is outside this range. Think Samsung note 3's 5.7 inch is abt the limit. Anything bigger must put the phone inside a bag or have to hand carry it.

I'm not a fan of the LG g2 with its absurd animations and all. But in terms of battery, note 3 wins LG g2 hands down.

I have the same dilemma as TS....

My considerations:

1. Top up $18 to get LG G2 (Upside: OIS, cheaper, nice screen layout with minimal bezels; Downside: Slightly smaller screen, perhaps slower or no Android updates from LG)

2. Top up $213 to get Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Upside: Bigger screen, S-pen, more prompt OS updates; Downside: think the design not as sexy, more upfront cost)

And based on the current trade in price (price diff of $100 only).... I reckon that the trade price difference between the 2 could be in the range of $50.....

So what are your thoughts on picking the phone?

Another 3 important things of note 3 (at least to me)

1. Expandable memory (g2 fixed 32gb)
2. Removable battery
3. Wider range of accessories for note 3

True, the need for a removable battery prompted me to get the note 3.

But I feel that the performance of the camera for note 3 is not that great at 13 megapixels.

Finally settled with a LG G2 bcos of the following reasons:
Didn't want to pay more than $500 for a phone with contract.
Has FM radio
Audio sound using headphone given is quite good for a hp. Definitely better than my previous samsung 2.
Camera is good.
Battery life is good but think samsung note 3's battery might last longer as it has a bigger mAh. So long as the battery can last more than a day with normal usage of Internet surfing, making calls and a bit of video watching is good enough for me.

Although I would prefer a screen size of 5.5 - 5.7 inch, I think 5.2 inch is decent enough to place phone in pocket. For home use, I have an iPad for Internet surfing and watching video. I would prefer to have an expandable storage. The storage for LG G2 is less than 32gb but I don't see myself loading a lot of content in my phone.

Tks for all the feedback given.
