Samsung Note 4 External Speaker dead after 2hrs

After gotten my hand on one, 2hrs ago. The external speaker went silent suddenly when i play a youtube video.

12/10/14 Updates

The external speaker went silent if the phone gets slightly warm. This morning i went to samsung customer service center at jurong point. Spend 2hrs there for them to diagnose. Subsequently they agree its faulty but they cant change it or fix it. Because neither do they have any spare parts nor a new phone for replacement! Worse of all! They tell me for the replacement i need to wait for 1 to 2 weeks! Next they suggest me to go get the dealer to replace, so i went down to the m1 exclusive dealer, they say my note 4 has its warranty registered and they cant exchange! I waste my time, waste my money and its still a malfunction phone! This is seriously getting ridiculous!!

The pinoy CSO can tell me " Sir, your phone is still functioning, just that there is no sound "

tt test will indicate other component pass or fail but not speaker..

The QC is really bad for Note 4. Maybe is the batch issues. My set speaker will stutter when playing music while charging using the samsung charger... But it is fine when I'm not charging it....

There's an opton to test speaker.

There is an option to test speaker there. If even in the test u hear no sound then better rma liao..

the command will bring you to the diagnostic menu in which you can test all the hardware.

pls dont do this at any launch event because u will choke up the whole queue.. you can do this when you are at the dealer's place where crowd is slightly lower..

yeah i also suggest using the diag menu to test first. scully is software fault and u really go down service centre... lol

okie jes read, go another svc centre n try? I've gotten 1 to 1 exchange. Twice. Once was Note 2 (SIM card slot GG after 3 days). The other was months later, Galaxy SIII 3G -> Galaxy SIII LTE coz they had already stopped Galaxy SIII 3G sales at tt time
