Hi All,

now that 2G has cease to exist in SG, anyone knows where can we download the files to allow both sim to be on 3G/4G standby instead of just main sim on 3g/4g and the other sim on 2g?

Not sure about this method.

But I'm hopeful that Nougat will hit my dual-SIM Note 5 this month, so I wonder if it'll enable 3GDS in the process.

There will be an update around end April to get 4G/3G. It will also bring Nougat with it. Now there is no other way as no device variant model of SM-N920I (Note 5) has received nougat.

The update will be out sooner or later, just not available at this moment...

my OLD SET (just sold it away) already receive nougat. but no updates to the standby thing. Vietnam set is already on 7.0

Correct. Cause Vietnam uses a different variant SM-N920C unlike SG's SM-N920I. Those sets do not support or have Dual sim capabilities as it is pretty much tailored for region/telco
