Besides it's unique design, I would say that it's the applications that will decide whether edge will become the next big thing.

I am currently in Japan, the Edge is available. However its sim locked and can only buy with a Docomo contract. What a waste! !
The Edge will arrive soon in SG la. patience patience.

right now, not much apps though. maybe give it time for more third party developers to jump in.

talking about price, what are you guys expecting it to cost?

Note 4 is S$1,088.
Edge - S$1,188?

About $200 diff from N4 RRP if buy from their concept stores, arriving later part of this month thru telcos.:D

would u buy the Edge for S$200 more or just buy the note 4? since both almost same suite of specs except for the slightly smaller display and curved edge.

Actually I already tried hands on the edge while overseas when N4 was just released here, all I can say is the built and touch is very exquisite over N4.

It's also quite distinguished in design.

Personally i wouldnt go for edge
After jumping to the Samsung Note 1 & 2 & 4
I would take a 6" QHD anytime.
Its quite frustrating to use note 4. Given its left button is recent instead of setting/options.

Bigger Screen n better specs is always welcomed.
Thats why Note1 started the "bigger = better" war for smartphones.

The edge screen is quite cool and a new user experience compare with the current flat (or curved) screen.

That said, I really think you should consider buying Note series or the Edge if you enjoy using the S-pen.

If not, there's tons of other options for big screen phone.

iPhone 6 plus vs Note 4 (Or Edge)? I don't get it. there's no competition here in the first place. Note has so many features you can enjoy that iPhone does not have.

For me, this time round I will opt for Nexus 6.
I dont use the stylus at all since my Note 1 days.
I prefer hp with big screen and that's why I was a Note user.
I have never liked Apple hp so even with the 6 plus, I hv stay put with Note 3.
Now with Nexus 6 on board, I will switch over to N6.
I hv nvr liked the extra bloatware, my only consideration is the lack of extra memory storage.

Don't forget not all users buy phone base on features. That's why iPhone 6 is selling so much more than Note 4.so far Samsung is focus on features to compete. There is only so much features and spec can sell a product.

Lolz......Samsung Edge is not for everyone.........some pple go for uniqueness....but most will look at applications that will utilize the edge :D.

Anyway, Android phes have many iterations....so, I'm sure one will fit ur needs.
