Great. After using the ultra power saving feature, and after disabling it...My cover does not turn off or on the screen...

Just flashed to the Aussie 5.0.1.......everything is smooth and fast. Only problem I am encountering is not getting 4g+ . But I guess it's a modem issue since Australia still not on 4g+ network.....

Thought I am the only one. Yup. No 4g+ and no Volte. no other issues. faster, snappier, and better battery life.

Yes, after 2 days on 5.0.1, I am extremely happy with it.....it's stable, fast and good on the battery life. Wonder when we will get the SG 5.0.1......can't wait to get back 4g+

why jump from Note 4 to Edge Leh?

so having used both, wats the difference and which is better ?
Besides the fun factor of a curved screen and having 2 screens in 1, personally I think the best part is not having your texting, web browsing, emailing or video watching session interrupted when an existing calls comes in. The notification appears on the edge and you can choose to answer, reject or ignore.

I also like how notifications appear on the edge. Useful when you are waiting for the 2FA code to come in via SMS. Just quickly type the digits as you read it. No longer have to worry about forgetting the code after reading it.

Wish the battery life was better though.

That is the only and BEST benefit of owning an Edge. I have my Note 4 friends regretting their decisions. Like who wants to be interrupted in the middle of something good, right?

Battery Saving

1. If battery life is a problem, there is always the ultra power saving mode (use this mode when you are desperate for juice, cuz it will disable a lot of apps and it takes a while to enable and disable it); and extra battery packs.

2. The Edge does feature a removable battery.

3. Also, switching off wireless radios MANUALLY when they are not in use. WiFi, NFC (search Settings > NFC and sharing. I recall this is to be switched on - by default), BT, Location (GPS. Most apps do not use this. But if you are using apps with maps features, just turn it on before the system prompts. Duh ;)), Mobile data, etc.

4. Plus, you may also wish to not use the fancy clocks for the edge screen when you have your smart cover on.

5. Additionally, you may wish to enable blocking mode during the wee hours of the day (i.e. 12am-6am) to conserve even more battery.

6. Alternatively, there is airplane mode, but just remember to turn it off when you are awake.

My thoughts are shared by 2 bros here. My opinion's are just the same as them, having changed for almost a month or so, no regrets at all.

Another good pro is, you can't spend a lot of money getting accessories for it. Ha

The edge display has its uses. To some its no big deal, to others it makes a lot of difference. To each his own.

I personally love it as my active session (whether I'm typing SMS or Whatsapp, or watching video or browsing websites) is no longer interrupted when someone calls. And when I receive SMS or Whatsapp, I can see it on the edge and can decide whether I want to stop whatever I'm doing to reply if its urgent, or I can just ignore till I'm free.

bro, my opinion is if you own a Note 4 now, its ok to stay with it bcos it just another side screen only....
of cos if you got extra money to spent, you can sell your Note 4 and buy a Edge....no problem

if you don own a Note 4, you can pick up an Edge, which till now i never regret....

I'm telling myself i'm not only buying a handphone, but also buying an innovation.....:)
