it has been released but to the other parts of the world.. for singapore? Samsung SG team lacking and pushed the blame on so call "partners" so each party suck thumb and wait for each other.

You would be better off downloading the samsung firmware for other countries like India to flash if you cant wait.. If you feel more adventurous, head over to XDA where there are few ROMs that you can test out yourself

I previously rooted primarily to use Greenify but with app optimise, its good enough to replace that, so didn't root. I just run Nova and I am good. You should go XDA and ask the people there.

I updated my unit to marshmallow...and realize now we can't use the finger print to unlock the phone upon boot up.!!! There are many write up on it.....simply crazy.

I am still on the ver 4.4.4 and had bad experience with Lollipop update where it converted my Note Edge to Note 4. Basically, the side bar is being rendered useless.

I just wish to confirm the latest update doesn't give me such issues. Any advice?

You should be getting Nougat with the Edge...

I am using Note Edge. Android version 6.0.1.
Side bar can work. Just that the phone sometimes will black screen then auto come back. I don't know is it the os or i open too many tab on Chrome app.
