My s24u still using 6.1. Now having the new 8.0,will it be ok to upgrade mine to 7.0? How is 7.0 battery?

Noticed from my S26U the One UI 8.5 now shows a single network reception status icon in the status bar unlike on my previous S25+ One UI 8.0 will show 2 separate reception status icons for SIM1 and SIM2.

Used to seeing both SIM cards signal status easily at one glance now have to look at the underneath tiny indicator for SIM2 signal status.
