samsung or sandisk microsd

Need to get a good microsd for my note 2. need 2 for storing pictures and songs. Should I get samsung or sandisk. Also should I get class 10.

any recommendation where to buy?

Class 4 is good enough for pictures and even viewing HD movies.

it's recommended to get a Class 10, if you are doing recording in HD, because of the huge amount of data to be written to the card. Class 10 has faster write access.

also the difference between a Class X Samsung vs a Class X Sandisk is insignificant. it's like comparing Honda and Toyota running at 100km/h. If both are running exactly at 100km/h, who's faster? for unknown reasons, people usually like to compare different classes, eg Class 10 vs Ultra & etc.

of cos, faster is usually better but it's also more expensive. so at the end of the day, how deep is your pocket also matters.

Got myself 2 kingston 32gb for 2 phones that need to store photos and songs. Got 1 samsung 32gb class 10 in case need to take videos.

Get sandisk or kingston better. Samsung maybe good in electronics but not in IT stuffs. Based on personal experience. Get the right stuffs from the right makers...

Samsung made their own processors n memory, flash memory is just one type of IC chip. So to say Samsung is not good in IT stuff is not true.

Sandisk on the other hand screw up big time during S3 era and have many batches of flash memory cards that have issues. So to say they are good in IT stuffs is also not true.
