actually i just top up to ezlink card, and use ezlink to tap mrt instead.
not sure if thats more efficient? cause i suppose simplygo will accumulate till $5 before they consider 1 transaction in samsung pay.

i usually tap $10 x 5 times on topup kiosk for my ezlink for easy pts?
or is that not the best way?

Using Visa card as transport card in samsungpay gives reward points which is credited to samsungpay account 1 day later. It doesn't need to accumulate $5 as Visa transaction shows up in card statement almost immediately. Not too sure about Mastercard though.

ezlink card is a stored value card, different from credit and debit card. once tap, the fares will be charged to your card the next day, and u pay for the fares when u receive ur credit card invoice. it works just like buying something with a credit card.

just changed a swensen ice cream moon cake for 2500 pts, cos got points expiring this month. the mc costs $10.90 if purchased. this offer expires 21 sep fyi.

Sounds like direct tap using visa card is the most efficient way?

I only see polar cake and nasty cookie. Maybe not everyone see the same promos.
