e.g. charge close to $400, get 30 points.
So it is more like based on the number of transaction i.e. more transaction the better? Are there optimal guides?

Any amount. There are no relationship. It is transaction based. $1 earns 10 points, 1c also earns 10 pts.

30 pts max. I sometimes do this when there is no queue. Supermarkets especially.
