some places like ntuc are using all-in-one POS terminal.
when the screen shows "pls swipe/insert/tap card"... that means the same machine will have all receivers activated at the same time... and all receivers are very near to each other.
i just guess that there may be possibility that nfc reader and swipe area both receiving the signal at the same time. won't happen?

i think Mac is using the same type of POS..i tried to tap but no reponse..ended up the MST worked instead

1 more issue i wonder..if i dine at a restaurant.most of the time the waiter will come and collect ur card for payment..How will samsung pay work in this situation

You can opt to walk to the cashier even when you dine in hotels / restaurants.

Does SamsungPay works for the magnetic strip which requires you to swipe the CC and the contact (where you have to insert the CC into the slot under the keypad.. ps dk what that is) or just work for the magnetic strip only?

Tried to pay jn but the cashier say their swipe reader spoil and I ended up having to use my CC for them to insert into the slot..

where did u tap?
for samsung phones, normally nfc antenna is at back cover around samsung logo. so u should tap the back cover against the reader.

Those readers can read the encrypted chip as well as the magnetic strip.

Apple Pay is just starting and so far usages is low.

90% of online market yes but payments is not just online.

Applepay and Samsungpay as well as the bank wallets address the offline payment in store first and foremost.

Thats correct. Do not forget these readers are to accept credit card from other countries. Many of them do not have the so call smart chip!

Yeah they hv the smart chip reader below the keypad but the magnetic strip reader at the side. I tried to tap on top of the magnetic strip reader but failed. Should I tap from the side of the MS reader?

I now aiming for the samsung powerbank that supports fast charging! Tired from using other brand powerbanks cos they usually charge slow but sammy one is so ex! The wireless charger got 2 alr zz one when I buy S6 last year and another from PC show lol.

Previously I'm using the SPIGEN clear case and switched to a Otterbox Defender case, which is much thicker; and no problem with wireless charging.
