Anybody knows if the wireless charger comes with the adaptor? Or do we need to use the 1 that comes with the phone. Thanks in advance

The Singapore version does not come with charger.

Use the supplied fast charger that comes with your note 5 S7 for the wireless fast charger.

i have a question i use my ntuc visa card at ntuc via samsung pay, it failed to use NFC to detect my membership (which is part of the visa card) failed 2x on the mobile phone.

I have to use the the physical card to swipe the terminal for membership points then allows me to pay using Samsung pay via MST or NFC.

Any one have this issue?

That is because loyalty points is not supported on Samsung Pay. Yet.... No news if loyalty points would be included into the features as of yet.

This is super frustrating, I was hoping that Samsung Pay would support Prepaid Mastercards so I was hyped for its release. Turns out I can't do so. Could like-minded individuals join me in asking Samsung Pay team for support for Prepaid Mastercards?

Thanks a lot!

prepaid mastercard cards exist since long time ago on nfc and physical card platform, but the reception isn't good at all. u still have the prepaid option with m1 and starhub though.

Yes, it is suppose to work at all contactless terminals, and normal insert terminals. Although there are at times I failed to do MST transaction at one outlet but succeeded in another, branched, outlet.

After setting up Samsung pay, my battery life has been taking a hit.. Looking at GSam stats, Samsung pay framework is using 0.9% of my overall battery ranking at #4 on my list even more than Google services

Do you leave NFC turn on afer used?

Haha no loss on your part, if u happen to see contactless payment just try out. If cannot then take out cash or card no big deal. All of my payments went through even there's a hiccup or 2

Perhaps your experience is good so far, for people like me, I have my fair share of failed attempts, but usually comes with a logical explanation for it.

Samsung pay is not omnipotent and omnipresent, but with more people using it, it will thus be matured.. :)

I think it's because the phone can't go into deep sleep mode. Used gsam app to monitor and discovered that the CPU is staying at 0.2ghz instead of 0 when phone is in sleep mode. Probably trying to keep the Samsung pay running. Standby time is dropping as well.

hmm didn't notice any significant drain, doze and deep sleep seems normal on mine. but this sung pay thingy is been hit & miss for me. some cashier never even heard of it. Now when got a queue behind me, I just use my card, lolx.

Edit:
btw just got an update for June security patch on my Note 4 INU.
realize our Note 5 is still lagging behind on April.
Dun play play leh, now with SungPay, better release faster.

If there is an NFC terminal, probably best to just tell the cashier you want to use Visa PayWave and tap the white terminal with your phone. Easier that way.

In fact, for NTUC which uses an all in one terminal (NFC, swipe and chip), you can tell the Cashier Visa PayWave and still use MST by tapping your phone on the side of the terminal (where the magnetic swipe is).
