Samsung cannot pay

I tried going to NTUC but can't pay... I tried the visa pay wave terminal, there was a message to "Tap or swipe card", I put my phone there, heard two beeps, see a message saying "Thank you", but the impatient cashier auntie kept saying cannot get thru and asked me to go away and said that I might hang her system. I must admit that there was one customer behind me, but I didn't take long, just two tries.

Moral of the story is if you're gonna try Samsung pay for the first time, best to avoid the aunties who tell you cannot and try to chase you away... and try to find a big empty shop with no other customers waiting in line.

Anyone had any positive experiences with dbs or cards other than OCBC which is already known to work?

tried dbs mastercard today at my hair salon, guardian, mcd, supermarket and 7-11. all no problem. the terminal was very quick to detect the phone.

Just managed to activate mine today.

So when you make Payment do you state payment by master/visa ?
or contactless etc ?
