A noob question, do I need to keep the NFC and payment setting on at all times to facilitate me to make payment as and when or the apps is intelligent to auto on the NFC whenever I tap the phone for payment?

It would be best to leave the PIN enabled. And I don't think it uses your default PIN right? Cos I have my own PIN but prompted to add another PIN. So I am thinking that the Samsung Pay PIN might be different fromt the phone's PIN.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

According to reviews, and articles, it seems that the phone's MST feature can support overseas terminals. But you will need to enable your magstripe on your card before you can use it. I don't exactly know why still needs to do that since you are it is paying with the phone, it might be the reason cos its still making the overseas transaction with the banks.

Yes it's a separate pin different from your phone PIN. I enabled it too.

Yea the pin is different from the phone pin. It is just that i feel a 4 number pin is not that secure.
