Hi guys

Wanted to do a poll here.

Just got my S6 for 3 days. Hardly downloaded any app, and charged the phone to full 100% by 11pm. Left the phone on over night.

Battery level was 62% the next morning at 7am.

I know that battery life is not that great for S6, but this is pretty bad as battery drained a lot due to no activity.

What's yours? Or have I gotten a lemon?

Appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

that is a very common problem due to background activity. you can try by leaving the phone overnight tonight by turning off wifi and mobile data. with this, it is only faulty if it drops as fast as the night with wifi and mobile data on.

if by turning off wifi and mobile data and it survived by dropping less than a reasonable %, then the problem lies with the apps. some apps have processes which actively runs in background and when ur wifi is turned on.

Thank you bro. My issue is resolved. Only changed mail setting so that it sync less frequently did the trick. Now overnight till morning, battery drain is about 9%.

Mine is even worst. Just got mine for just few days. 100% charged from night. Morning left 40% with sleep mode on. Anymore users experiencing the same ?
