UA32F6400AM 32" Series 6 LED - OVERVIEW | SAMSUNG

bought the above LED TV, and while the panel works great I noticed that against a while background, e.g Google maximized you can see in the middle like that's this grey spot/slight streaks that make up a very very very faint crosshair.

you wont see this against a red, blue or green background - only full white. Anyone else seeing this? I'm guessing lots of you will not as you will not use this panel as a PC monitor but for those who do can you check it out ?

I"m pretty sure Sony has it's own fair share of problems, just that the market is concentrated towards Samsung thus them having more issues than normal isnt something surprising.

as an update I've reported the case to Samsung and have the Technician come by tomorrow evening to evaluate the supposed issue and to provide a problem report. if the patches are verified as problematic and not "expected" I will be replacing the unit with the retailer.

so a 1 2 1 was made, and the replacement Samsung unit had the very same problem of dark patches (exact same area) and + a dead pixel.

decided to change and went for the 32 inch Sony W674A. The first unit I took home had 2 bright pixels and 1 dead. brought it back for exchange. This round I decided to check it onsite - loaded up the panel, connected to my phone's internet and loaded up you tube video of a Deal Pixel Checker. This round this panel was perfect, zero dead/bright pixels and it appears that color balancing was totally even across.

this would be the end of my story now as it looks like this panel is a keeper! :s12:
