Hi All,

Was looking for a thin and light laptop and came upon the Samsung Series 9 13.3".

Particularly the NP900X3E-A03SG
Intel Core I7-3537U @2.0Ghz
4GB Ram
512GB SSD
13.3 Inch Full HD
Intel® HD Graphics 4000

Can this guy be upgraded to 16GB ram?

Looked online and saw the older models can be upgraded since it has two slots. But today a shop @ SLS told me the ram is soldered.. Really need some advice here..

Im not sure on the soldering part.... but you wouldnt need 16gb. just upgrade to 8gb

Hi, thats what i'm trying to find out. If the rams are soldered, then even 8gb is not an option.

Btw, i have uses for specific uses hence the need for such high amounts of ram..

900X3E cannot upgrade ram... only their 15" can upgrade to 16GB ram..

I read that it is possible to upgrade the SSD.. i'm a semi-tech hardward idiot.. is it true, and if so, how do I, or where do I go to have it done?
