Samsung SSD suddenly disappear from view

My Samsung SSD suddenly disappear from my desktop and I can't access the SSD.

Is there anyway to bring it back online?

2. swap sata port
3. power cycling

I manage to get it back online. Somehow after doing window 7 back up, the SSD drive disappear. I have to go into sevice manager and to rename the drive to Samsung SSD and click something in the properties then it start to appear again.

Sounds like a dirty power down situation on the SSD. But yes, it is still good to update the firmware to the latest.
