samsung t240 brightness issue

hi everyone today suddenly my monitor become a bit darker so i changed my monitor using the 5 buttons on the monitor panel but still the brightness is darker than last time i use. how to make it brighter plz help.

yup. can be the backlight.. also can be the power board/inverter transformer, etc. ultimately will need to open up to verify.

i notice the top of the monitor got burn smell, but the monitor still working is it time to change a monitor?

Using PowerPoint to fill pages with RGBWB and see if uneven colour/brightness for your screen?
