Comes out with new product which can plug into iPhone used as external drives now.

Anyone got buy?

very good to use. can watch video from ixpand, transfer photo from iphone to ipad/ any iphone or pc.
it is also have a build-in battery, need to charge it when there is a red ligh indicate on the drive.

Can I store MKV or RMBV video formats in this device & let it play on my iP6+?

I think various format can be play but better to double check.

But for charging the battery? I'm not sure leh. Can meh?

Agree that the price is steep.


Maybe can wait for new company to develop too so as to bring down the price since normal 16gb thumb drive is $10?

ixpand have its own internal battery. it does not charge your phone. ;)

it does not support android. it only has a usb & the other side is lightning

It is good choice as read up and expensive. Other option is Seagate wireless protable HDD, anyone have use it before ? Pricing above S$230 but can share with more devices..

There is a one more I saw in one of those apple authorised reseller bit couldn't remember the brand. It has two version, which one can be used with Android. Didn't explore much after that.

Sandisk wireless flash drive,, I'm interested for product for coming holiday to backup photos, anyone know current micro SD card is able to use as purchase coming in 32,64 and 128Gb ?:s22:

That one is wireless but there is another one that connect by lighting port. Quite expensive IMO.
