Anyone have any ideas where can I get Sansa Clip+ in singapore?

If possible, 4gig.

And may I have some reviews on this mp3 player?

Cheers!

Rockbox is a open source OS for a few players. Clip+ and Fuze are two of the few lucky enough to receive support for it.

One question, can the rockbox firmware organise your songs in ''folder'' form like the default clip+ firmware?

Thanks!

This is a small and very portable player, I can even fit the player and the IEM into my earphone case!. The FM radio wasn't impressive though, the reception was like transistor radio of 10 years back.

Sound wise, depends on your taste. As the frequency respond of the player is very flat, you need to match it with earphones that match your music taste. I find the EQ of the player quite bad as it filter out too much details once activated.

I have both the iPhone 3GS and Sandisk Sansa clip plus.

Sound quality wise, Sansa clip plus has more bass and wider soundstage, making it sound "warmer". iPhone 3GS, while having a narrower sound stage, has slightly more treble extension while the bass is weaker.

Both are good players, really. :D

Hi I see alot of posts here saying you can rockbox Sansa Clip. That's true mostly for the v1, which is rarely found even online anymore. I believe it is unstable for the rest of the clip series. But then again, the default firmware is great so rockbox is not really necessary.
Cheapest would be to purchase it from Amazon and ship it over yourself. Can also buy other electronic goods while your there to make it more worth your while. Price for the 4 gig drops below 40 usd sometimes so check often to try to get a better deal.
The player is minimalist and the only failing is its battery life, which is understandable for its size but warrants charging everyday if you're a heavy user.

What's the battery life like for the clip+ vs fuze? Cos its only $15 difference from 8gb clip+ to 8gb fuze.
